The honorary town archivists, Erich Schreilechner and Hans Rinofner Ing., offer historical city tours by appointment. The tour includes the historical development of Knittelfeld along with a walk through the town center and an explanation of historical and contemporary buildings. The tour starts at the main square, or any other desirable location, and lasts about 1 ½ hours.
The guided tour is free and can be tailored for adults, students or youth groups.  On the tour you will receive a brochure, which is also available in the community office, town library and archives and at MSM Stadtmarketing.
The archivists are German speaking.
