We live in a tight "social network" and yet the meshes of this net are growing bigger. Who falls through that net, seeks help at his neighbour's. Mostly, there is no neighbour.
The department citizens' service of Knittelfeld and social facilities help in times where just small financial losses already have profound impacts on the quality of life of people concerned. To support this people, the city offers social contributions. The department citizens' service is responsible for the allocation of social contributions.
